Pharrell and Arby's Win Big During This Year's Grammy Awards #Social Media

Music superstar, Pharrell, won big last night during the 2014 Grammy Awards.  But, he also was a winner on social media as well.  The singer wore a hat that greatly resembled the hat in the logo of fast food chain, Arbys.

During the awards show, the Arby's Twitter account tweeted the following:

Hey @Pharrell, can we have our hat back? #GRAMMYs

Many people tweeted about the hat before Arby's, but the company won big because the tweet was funny and it was quickly re-tweeted by thousands of other Twitter users.  This is just the kind of exposure that is great for a company's social media account.

Later on, Pharrell wouldn't be outdone so he tweeted Arby's back with a funny tweet of his own:

Y'all tryna start a roast beef?

Kudos to the Arby's social media team for knowing when to comment on a relevant social media trend and become a part of the conversation.  Not only did they get their brand in front of thousands quickly but they got a hot celebrity to tweet them back!
